Duncan Charles Norwell

Duncan Charles Norwell, 75, of Huron, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
He was born Oct. 20, 1938, in Ashland, Wis., and moved to Huron in 1972, where he raised his family and worked for Pillsbury until his retirement.
He enjoyed reading, the Green Bay Packers, the Chicago Cubs and being “Pop Pop” to his grandkids. He was a member of the Elks Club in Upper Sandusky. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judy; children, Christina (Shayne) Fischer of Huron, Douglas (Cathy) Norwell of Cincinnati, Patrick (Caryn) Norwell of Huron, Cathy (Justin) Cutcher of Huron; eight grandchildren, Jack, Scot, Tait, Owen, Cooper, Charles, Julianna and Zeke; and a brother, John (Mary) Norwell of Madison, Wis. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Evelyn Norwell.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron. There will be a private family Celebration of Life at a later date.
