Letter to the Editor

To the Voters of Huron,

On Tuesday, November 4th the voters of Huron will have the opportunity to vote on Issue #3, a renewal school levy for the Huron City Schools. The Huron Board of Education is unanimous in its support for the renewal school levy, and would like to remind the voters this renewal levy will not increase your taxes.

The recent state report card confirms Huron City Schools lead all area districts in student performance due, in part, to the support of the Huron voters and their willingness to invest in an excellent education for the children of Huron.

Under the direction of the Board, district leadership is committed to sound fiscal management. Every attempt is being made to run the district efficiently on a day-to-day basis, and in the past two years the Board of Education has approved over $1 million in cuts throughout the system.

Board of Education members John Caporini, Donna Green, Eric Muehlhauser, Scott Slocum and Tim Sowecke urge you to vote YES! FOR HURON SCHOOLS on November 4th.
.
Respectfully Submitted,

The Huron City Schools
Board of Education
