As part of the City’s infrastructure improvement
plan, several streets will be re-paved over the next few weeks. Beginning on Thursday, September 18, crews will
begin to re-pave the streets in the Old Plat north of Cleveland Road, including Williams, Center, Ohio, Wall, West, and Park streets. During the process of repaving, West Drive and Wall Street at Center
Street will be widened. The north and
south parking lots of the Parks and Recreation Department’s administration building will also be paved. In
addition, Adams Avenue and Buckeye Drive will also be repaved. The work, which
is expected to take two weeks, will be completed by A.J. Riley, Incorporated of
Norwalk and will cost the City $374,696.
This amount will come from the City’s Capital Improvement Fund.
