From Nancy Smith, President of the Friends of the Huron Public Library
The Friends of the Huron
Public Library's book sale will be held at the library September 5, 6, and 7
from 9-4, 9-4, and 1-4 respectively. There will be a small table of books at
the Boat Basin on Garage Sale, Saturday, also. Used books, CDs and DVDs will be
for sale. Sunday will be the $3 Bag Day, but come early for the best selection. For
the first time ever, the Friends will be able to take credit cards for the
sale.
The
Friends of the Huron Public Library is a volunteer organization that supports
the library and its programs. One hundred percent of the money raised from dues
(a mere 3 cents a day or .$ 10.00 a year) and the book sales go directly to the
library. Membership forms are available in the library. We also have Business
Friends of the Library who support the library as well.
Books
can be donated all year round for the sales, and there is a book cart in the
library throughout the year that also has some books for sale as well.
